The “PRIMA ROSAE” line of still wines is a fresh and lively offering, suitable for any occasion, with pleasantness as its defining feature.

The white version tells the story of a lesser-known but historically significant style of wine, reminiscent of a time before the introduction of the autoclave.
This niche wine, which we at Andreola have chosen to preserve, has been somewhat overshadowed over the years by the success of its more famous counterparts: sparkling and semi-sparkling wines. However, we believe it is essential to continue producing it to showcase and highlight the importance of Tranquillo white wine – the foundation upon which sparkling wine production is built.

Until the 2023 vintage, this version was certified as a Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin (DOCG). However, for stylistic reasons, we have since decided to forgo this certification. This decision was driven by our desire to use a screw cap, a closure system not permitted by the DOCG regulations. We see this modern closure method as practical, functional, and essential for preserving the wine’s freshness over time.

After the blend is created, the wine undergoes winter maturation on its fine lees to achieve maximum stylistic completeness. As spring approaches, it is clarified, cold-stabilized, and bottled.

This results in Prima Rosae Bianco – a still white wine with a delicate, captivating aroma rich in floral nuances such as wisteria and hawthorn, followed by notes of apple, peach, pear, and wildflower honey.

Perfect with light appetizers, seafood dishes, and white meats. It also pairs well with fresh cheeses and delicate first courses. Thanks to its elegance and versatility, it is an excellent choice as an aperitif wine.
Recommended serving temperature: 6-8°C.
